This home sits higher than any other home of ours and has spectacular year-round views of Massanutten, the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains beyond.
The views can be appreciated from the front decks, the living room, dining room and downstairs family room. Once the leaves are off the trees you'll have views of ski slopes from the screened porch and parts of the indoors of this lovely cedar home.
Wood floors & ceilings, ceiling fans, big windows. From October 1st through April 30th you can enjoy a beautiful and warming fire in the stone hearth gas fireplace.!
This home is next door to our Shenandoah Sunrise home and down the street is our Drake Lodge home. Around the corner on Rainier Road are our Acorn Lodge, Golden Afternoon, Peak Retreat, Stone Splendor & Summit's Edge homes!

Stipulations:
1) The reservation must be in the name of the person whose name is on the military ID.
2) A copy of your unexpired military ID card must be submitted with your signed rental contract to get this discount.
Mark through all social security numbers on the military ID copy.
Write MILITARY next to the Payment Details on page 1 of your rental contract.
Your rental contract will not show the discounted amount. Military discount will be applied once your rental agreement & military ID are received in our office.
3) Military IDs received after payment has been made will not be honored for the discount.
4) This discount is given to active duty, reservists and retired military persons.
Enter the home from the front deck on the lowest level. A gas grill is on this deck. Step into the downstairs family room with a queen sleep sofa, game & snack table, flat screen Direct TV, DVD, VCR & surround sound. The family room also has a snack kitchen with cabinets & counter tops, a bar sink and a mini fridge. Off the family room is a closet with a rack for skis, boots and coats. Down the short hallway is a full bathroom with a shower and a big corner jacuzzi tub!
Upstairs is the great room with a deck off the front of the house. A 2-person glider sits on the deck. More deck furniture is nearby in the screened porch on the side of the house. There is a dining table on the screened porch, as well.
The great room has high wood ceilings and a stone gas-log fireplace, and consists of an open living room, dining room and kitchen. The front of the home has windowed doors and windows so you can take advantage of the breathtaking views!
The living room has a flat screen Direct TV, DVD, VCR and a stereo. In addition to the dining room table there is seating at the breakfast bar.
Down the hall from the great room is a full bathroom with a shower, a bedroom with a queen bed & Direct TV, the laundry room and a door out to the screened porch.
Upstairs is a hallway open to the great room, a full bathroom, a bedroom with a queen bed & Direct TV and a bedroom with a twin bed and a TV & VCR. There is also a twin cot that can be set up in this room.
